Jon Maddy and Michelle DeSutter Co-Headline! Growing up in Washington, IL and now living in Peoria, DeSutter's first time on stage was over 12 years ago. "Having worked at the Jukebox Comedy Club waitressing for several years and I guess I thought maybe the funny had rubbed off on me. I only have a couple minutes of material and it was well received by the audience," recalls DeSutter. "They were kind to me because they knew it was my first time. I was so nervous through my entire set that it took me a while before trying again." Since then she has performed across the Midwest and was a finalist in the Jukebox Comedy Competition multiple times. "I was voted class clown in Junior High, but I don't think I was really funny then. I was just an ass," says DeSutter. "My older brother was funny. He used to captivate us with his crazy stories before he provoked a fight between my sisters and me so he could pretend he was the referee/announcer. I still have scars." For DeSutter, her first comedy crush started with George Carlin, who she calls, "the funniest man to ever exist! I started watching all of the comedy I could find in the 90s," says DeSutter. Other favorites were Steven Wright and Eddie Murphy. So what can the audience expect at her show? "That will all depend on my mood, but I tend to be a bit dark. If someone close to me dies, I write a joke about it. If I live long enough, that might be my entire set."
