The Newest Cast Member of The Bob & Tom Show; Pat Godwin, returns to the Cackle Shack in Bloomington at The Eastland Suites.

Possessing one of the most entertaining and original live shows in the business, Pat Godwin's strong material and highly developed improvisational skills means no two shows are ever the same. Don't let his sly boyish smile fool you; it only takes about three seconds on stage to realize that Pat's comedy has an edge to it. With a mix of quirky, personal musings and off-the-cuff remarks, Godwin can segue in to any one of his songs, performed in an endless array of musical styles.

Paddy G, (his Gangsta Folk name) has appeared on every top morning radio show nationwide. He was part of Philadelphia's Morning Zoo and was a frequent guest and contributor to both Howard Stern's radio and TV shows. Pat was featured on Last Comic Standing. Pat's songs get a lot of play on Bob & Tom and Sirius / XM Radio. Pat is the newest cast member on The Bob & Tom Show, after being a fixture on The Bob & Tom Comedy Tour and regular guest for years. Some of Pat's most requested songs include, The Legend of John Fox, Margaretville Retirement Home and Gangsta Folk. His songs C'est La Vie and First Date were awarded winning songs in The International Songwriting Competition.

Pat's days in radio has given him some great stories. Pat spilled coffee on Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards' white shirt right before he went on stage for a solo performance at The Tower Theater in Philadelphia, PA. Keith wasn't mad, but amused. He put his arm around Pat and proceeded to warm up before the show by singing horribly off-key and drinking copious amounts of a beverage Mr. Richards called "Nuclear Nightmare." He looked down at his coffee stained shirt and remarked, "Looks like puke... It'll be good for my image."

Pat Godwin headlines The Bloomington Cackle Shack 8pm on Friday, Aug. 27th. The venue is located at 1801 Eastland Dr., at The Eastland Suites.
